After weaving our way through San Diego, Calgary, Nîmes, Girona and Madrid, the 3T Tour’s spring swing wrapped up in the Netherlands and the southern US
Together with our Dutch sales rep Dennis, I rolled into Bikesuperior on a sun‑drenched Friday afternoon. Jochem and Jordy—the brothers behind the “We build your dream bike” motto—welcomed us exactly the way you’d hope: cold beers, a plate of bitterballen and that easy Dutch hospitality you never forget.
By dinner’s end we’d been joined by Mie Pedersen, fresh off her Danish gravel‑champion season and ready to ride with us the next morning. The crew was set.
Saturday’s community ride drew about forty riders—many already on 3Ts, most dragging along dads, siblings or partners for a taste of gravel. Under an unusually scorching Dutch sun, we threaded sandy farm tracks that reminded me why “flat” never means “easy” up here.
With hardly a hill in sight, it was the loose surface (and my questionable sand‑surfing skills) that did the damage. Salvation came at kilometre 32: an ice‑cream stop that felt closer to a lifeline than dessert.
Back at the shop, Jordy switched from bike builder to event organiser—stringing shade sails across the forecourt, queuing up Italian classics on the speaker and laying out a borrelplank‑meets‑aperitivo spread. If you want proof that a high‑end, mostly custom bike shop can still be the beating heart of a local scene, Bikesuperior shows it perfectly.,
Over in the US the Tour continued in one of the BBQ capitals of the world. 3T Ambassador and Velocio // Exploro athlete Taneika Duhaney joined the crew at Victory for a double header weekend of fun in Tennessee.
30 or so women showed up and took the Memphis roads on Day 1 for the Victory women's ride.
It was perfect opportunity to sample some new RaceMax Integrale ( in Victory Blue of Course) and Ultra models and celebrate the community built by Clark and the team in Memphis.
Ride day 2 joined up with Victory's couch to 50 mile training program. The crew battled the relentless southern heat to push through for a great ride.
It was a great chance for the members of the training program to bend the ear of a veteran rider like Taneika who's taken on all sorts of long gravel events like, The MidSouth, Unbound and UnPAved.
The Tour barely pauses. Next week we cross the Channel for three UK dates alongside Olympic champion Paolo Bettini. Same demo fleet, same big red van, new stories loading…
Then on July 19th we're heading deep into the mountains of North Carolina to Rhoddie Bicycle Outfitters. Riders from the 3T|Q+M team will be leading the ride along with the crew from Rhoddie. Give Lars and Jennah a follow before the event.
See you on the road!
