Back to components: introducing Uno GHIAIA one-piece cockpit
Before 3T made bikes, we made the places where riders met them. Handlebars and stems sat at the center of our story for its first five decades, shaping how a rider holds, controls, and moves on the bike.
During the past ten years, much of our attention has shifted toward frames and complete bikes. The Exploro led us into a new category, while our reshoring journey required us to design machines, develop processes, and learn how to turn continuous carbon fiber into increasingly refined structures.
The Torno remains the component that symbolizes that manufacturing journey. Uno GHIAIA represents a different kind of return: one of focus, design, and development rather than manufacturing location. It brings components back to the center of our work, starting from the point where the rider holds and controls the bike.

Uno GHIAIA is the first expression of this renewed commitment: an integrated cockpit developed specifically for performance gravel.
THREE GENERATIONS, ONE IDEA
The connection was hiding in plain sight.
Every day, as we move through 3T, we pass products and photographs from earlier chapters of our history. Francesco Moser bent low over a 3T handlebar on his way to the Hour Record in Mexico City. Carlos Sastre won the Tour de France on a bike fitted with 3T components. Around those images are the handlebars and stems that generations of riders have held and used to control their bikes.

Looking at that history, we realized the line leading to Uno GHIAIA was already in place.
Place the original More stem and carbon handlebar beside the More² stem and Aeroghiaia bar, and then beside Uno GHIAIA, and three generations of the same idea become visible. More than thirty years separate them, but the question has remained remarkably consistent: how can the cockpit give the rider more control, more useful hand positions, and a cleaner connection to the bike?

"Uno" is both a name and a description. The familiar character of Aeroghiaia is still recognizable, now developed together with the stem as a single structure. That integration saves weight, increases stiffness, and gives us greater control over every transition from the steerer to the drops.
DESIGNED FOR PERFORMANCE GRAVEL
A gravel cockpit has to solve two different tasks at once. The hoods must remain narrow and efficient when speed matters; the drops must provide stability and leverage when the surface becomes loose, steep, or unpredictable.

Uno GHIAIA achieves this with a multi-angle flare averaging 23 degrees. The drops open into a wide, stable position without forcing the hoods farther apart. The center section balances aerodynamics and ergonomics, giving the rider a natural platform for long efforts while preserving the clear visual identity introduced by Aeroghiaia.
LIGHTER, STIFFER, CLEANER
Compared with the separate More² and Aeroghiaia combination, the integrated structure increases stiffness and reduces weight by approximately 70 grams. The gains come from treating the cockpit as a single load path instead of joining two independently optimized parts.

Integration also cleans up the rider’s view and the front of the bike, but the objective was never visual minimalism alone. Every feature has to remain useful in the real world, from finding the right position to fitting a computer or preparing the bike for a long-distance challenge.
UNO GHIAIA COMPARED WITH MORE² + AEROGHIAIA
| DIFFERENCE | |
|---|---|
| Width at drops | +2 mm vs. Aeroghiaia |
| Reach | −3 mm vs. Aeroghiaia |
| Stem angle | Same −6° angle as More² |
| Stack | −3 mm vs. More² |
| Weight | −70 g vs. More² + Aeroghiaia |
Complete specifications, available sizes, and full geometry are available on the Uno GHIAIA product page.
A COMPUTER MOUNT THAT BELONGS THERE

A dedicated removable and adjustable mount, developed with K-Edge, positions the computer low and ahead of the bar. Its arm follows the cockpit’s shape so closely that it appears to grow from the structure rather than hang beneath it.
READY FOR EXTENSIONS

Integrated mounting points make Uno GHIAIA ready for aero extensions without adding permanent hardware or visual clutter. Flush covers are supplied as standard. Adapters compatible with the Profile Design A3 Riser Kit will follow later in 2026, giving riders and dealers a clear route to custom long-distance setups.
FIT FOR DIFFERENT RIDERS
Uno GHIAIA is available in three widths and a focused range of stem lengths, allowing the same design to suit different riders, bikes, and positions:
| HANDLEBAR WIDTH | AVAILABLE STEM LENGTHS |
|---|---|
| 38 cm | 80 / 90 / 100 mm |
| 40 cm | 90 / 100 / 110 / 120 mm |
| 42 cm | 100 / 110 / 120 mm |
THE COCKPIT OF ITALIA X
Uno GHIAIA is supplied as standard exclusively across the ITALIA X bike range. That choice is deliberate. ITALIA X builds are conceived as complete systems, with the frame, drivetrain, wheels, and components selected to work together. The cockpit is one of the places where the character of that system becomes most tangible.

Uno GHIAIA is now available, along with the Strada ITALIA X, Racemax² ITALIA X, Extrema ITALIA X, and eExtrema ITALIA X.

THE FIRST EXPRESSION OF UNO
Uno GHIAIA is the first expression of a broader cockpit idea. Its name tells you where this version belongs. The rest of the road can wait.
SEE IT FIRST AT IBF
If you are coming to the International Bike Festival, join us at the Misano World Circuit from September 4–6. Uno GHIAIA and the complete ITALIA X range will be on display at the 3T stand, U1.
