We say the Max Eagle builds are for riders who start their ride not knowing what the day’s adventure will throw at them. Might be a day on bad tarmac, open farm roads and maybe rocky and rutted doubletrack. Or if you really want to get drop bar rowdy, you take on the meanest routes of your local MTB network. This RaceMax build, in particular, is really meant for the latter.
650b wheels are a favorite in our office for the flexibility they give you. When things get loose and sections are more hike-a-bike than riding, the 650b wheels and tires really shine. The loose sandy trails of Arizona will be the perfect case to showcase these. Not to mention the bike sports a pair of the 650b x 47mm WTB Sendero tires, specifically designed for pushing the boundaries of dropbar bikes. You could almost say this RaceMax has got the personality of a Range Rover but on 2 wheels!
If you’re asking is this the edition of the RaceMax the Queen would ride, well we can’t confirm that but it does match her choice of motorized vehicles!
British Racing Green is a perennial favorite color of ours as well. It’s a timeless look that will keep this rider in fashion for years to come. A couple other fun build notes on this RaceMax to highlight are the blips tucked underneath the bars. and don’t think that we didn’t notice that the team at Regroup perfectly matched up the logos on the tires with the logos on the rims. That deserves a big ol’ chef’s kiss for the attention to detail.
If you want to put together your own RaceMax dream build, head down to the new Regroup location in Tempe for a fresh brew and chat. Check them out here at https://regroupwithus.com/dream-bikes/ and get started building an Exploro that will be the envy of your riding buddies.
